The school community is engaged and proactive. Parent help is promoted and encouraged at sporting events, busy bees, Learning Journeys, fortnightly assemblies and within the classroom through an organised timetable of volunteers.

School Board meets at least once a term and play a pivotal role in the development of the school plan, policy formation and school accountability.

The P and C meets monthly and supports the school with a variety of fund raising exercises throughout the year such as the ‘strawberries and cream’ stall at the Katanning show and the extremely successful yearly Rotary Dinner. Funds raised focus on improving school facilities. Over the past four years the P and C has helped fund: interactive whiteboards, library resources and subsidised the Year 6 camp. Their support is positive, interactive and invaluable to Braeside.
